# Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

> **Quick answer:** If you allow advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Google Ads conversion tracking collect data about your visit to sopwow.com for advertising. California law calls that selling or sharing personal information. Turn the switch off to opt out. Your browser's Global Privacy Control signal opts you out automatically, and we never sell or share your workspace content.

## What does SopWow sell or share?

Only website visit data, and only if you agree in the cookie banner. When you do, three advertising pixels run on the public website: the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), the LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation), and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google LLC). They collect identifiers such as your IP address and cookie IDs, the pages you view, your device and browser details, and your approximate location, so that we can measure our ads and show them to people who visited the site.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, that is "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and it may also be a "sale". We treat it as both.

We do not sell or share customer workspace content, recordings, screenshots, SOPs, account data, or billing data, and the pixels never run in the customer portal.

## What does the switch do?

- **Off** is the opt-out. The advertising pixels do not load on this browser, and nothing is sold or shared. If they were running, they stop at once, the cookies they set on sopwow.com are deleted, and the page reloads. Opting out does not delete data the advertising partners already received; to ask them, use their own tools listed in the [cookie policy](https://sopwow.com/cookies). If you allowed analytics, Google Analytics 4 still measures the site, with Google signals and ad personalization turned off.
- **On** allows the advertising pixels. It is the same choice as "Advertising" in the cookie banner. Analytics is a separate choice, and this switch does not change it.

Your choice is saved on this browser and is the same choice the cookie banner shows. It lasts 12 months. If you use another browser or device, or clear your site data, set it again there. After you opt out, we wait at least 12 months before asking you to opt back in.

## How does Global Privacy Control work here?

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing, and as a refusal of all non-essential cookies. It takes priority over any choice you made before, including Accept all, for as long as it is on. You do not need to use the switch or the banner. While the signal is on, the switch stays off, and we record the opt-out so it still holds if you later turn the signal off.

## Are there other ways to opt out?

- **Cookie preferences.** Select "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page and turn off "Advertising", or choose Reject non-essential.
- **Email.** Write to privacy@sopwow.com and ask us to stop selling or sharing your personal information. We do not need to verify your identity for an opt-out, and an authorized agent can send the request for you.
- **The advertising partners.** Google, Meta, and LinkedIn offer their own ad settings. They are listed in the [cookie policy](https://sopwow.com/cookies).

We will not treat you differently for opting out.

## What if I live in Canada or Quebec?

The same switch and the cookie banner work for you. The advertising pixels run only with your consent, and turning the switch off, or choosing Reject non-essential, withdraws it. In Quebec, trackers that can identify, locate, or profile you are off until you turn them on. The [privacy policy](https://sopwow.com/privacy) has your full rights and our privacy officer's contact details.
